The Project
Molesey Court was a part of a phased approach to deliver energy efficient measures to selected homes across Wealden District Councils housing stock. Molesey Court is an apartment building in Uckfield, East Sussex. The purpose built building consists of 14 properties. Surveys determined that the properties would benefit from solar PV and air source heat pumps.
The Installation
The installation took place over the course of 50 days. All properties were fitted with a solar panel system consisting of Jinko solar panels, a Xiamen Fasten solar mounting system and Fox S500 inverters. Air source heat pumps were successfully installed at 12 of the 14 properties. Mitsubishi Ecodan heat pumps with World Heat Cylinders were the agreed products installed. Handover and maintenance instructions were provided to both tenants and Client.

The Result
After full installation the tenants will benefit from a more energy efficient property, which also has the ability to self generate electricity through the solar PV system to help with energy bills.All dwellings now meet the min of SAP C and where ASHP has been installed, have better controls to set better comfort levels.
