Our team are at the heart of what we do, everything starts and ends with them, we strongly believe they are our most valuable asset.

Get to know more about the team who support with the delivery of energy saving measures in homes across Wealden.

John Puttick

Managing Director

Our Managing Director, John Puttick, has been with the business since 2009 and has an extensive knowledge of the energy industry.

John is primarily responsible for steering the company’s strategic direction, ensuring the implementation and achievement of set objectives, effectively and efficiently.

The responsibilities of the role are wide ranging and can vary from making key decisions, to fostering positive stakeholder relationships, to hosting community engagement events with residents.

John spends his free time as a volunteer cricket coach for under 10’s. This is an enormously rewarding position, encouraging young players to learn and develop their cricket skills, whilst teaching fundamental qualities, such as teamwork, communication, discipline and responsibility.

Emma Puttick

Head of Operations

Emma joined the company in 2008 and works in the role of Head of Operations, a  varied role that involves Emma in all aspects of the company. The role itself acts as a cornerstone to operations, collaborating with all aspects of the company to promote success, implement policy and oversee performance. Emma enjoys to spend her free time keeping fit, playing tennis and spinning, as well as daily dog walking!

Chris Hoad

Project Manager

Chris has been working for Osborne Energy since 2020 in the position of Project Manager. Chris is responsible for the design, planning, organisation and completion of on-site works, ensuring they complete on time and within scope. Chris works closely with the on-site contractors, as well as the internal office team. In his free time, Chris has a passion for rugby.

Kate Watson

Progammes Manager

Kate is the Scheme Manager of the Installation Division, and has been a member of the Osborne Energy team over 7 years.  Kate liaises with clients and funders monthly to ensure KPI targets are met so that projects are successfully delivered upon time and within budget.  Kate must ensure that all the funding requirements are adhered to, that PAS standards are followed and the project goals of reducing carbon emissions in a bid to achieve ‘net zero’ are met.   She finds the role rewarding, especially when final project results are collated. By reducing carbon emissions, properties become more energy efficient and hopefully reduce energy costs for the residents.

Debbie Austin

Office & Complaints Manager

Debbie joined Osborne Energy as the Office Manager in 2008. The responsibilities of the role have varied over the years, alongside the evolution of the business, but core responsibilities such as complaint management, health & safety and HR management have consistently been part of the role.

Sam Willard

Quality Assurance Manager

Sam is the Quality Assurance Manager for Osborne Energy, having joined the company in 2017. Sam’s core responsibilities in the company are to ensure that works are installed to the highest standards to provide the best possible outcomes for our customers and clients alike.

Cally Atkinson

Procurement & Social Value Manager

Cally has been a member of the Osborne Energy team for over 17 years, and her progression through various roles has given her a good overview into the company and the industry.  A key part of her Procurement & Social Value Manager role, is managing all social value actions and liaising with clients and the community to make an impact. Outside of her work, Cally is a volunteer as a registered member of Scouts. She spends time every week helping teach young people aged 6-8 valuable life skills, as well as expanding their knowledge through fun activities.

Andrew Parker

Site Supervisor & Surveyor

Andy joined the business in 2021 in the position of Site Supervisor. Andy is responsible for the day to day running of installations onsite and data gathering through surveys, working closely with our contractors and internal team, carrying out projects from beginning to end.

Andy taught football as a volunteer level 1 fa coach for approximately 18 years, teaching children aged 3 to 18 from a soccer academy he set up for Orpington Football Club.  He has subsequently retired from this, passing the baton to young leaders to take forward, some of whom he may have coached.

Terry Burstow

Site Operative

Terry has been a member of the Osborne Energy team for 2 years. Terry carries out various activities including surveying, loft insulation, installation of vents and door undercuts at residents properties. He is very respectful and carries out his work to a high standard, making sure clients are happy with the results. He has been in the insulation industry for approximately 20 years.

Zac Osborn

Compliance Officer

Zac has been with Osborne Energy for nearly 10 years and manages compliance for the organisation, including its accreditation under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the MCS and PAS standards. Having a background in knowledge and process management provided a good foundation for this role and Zac has embraced the world of retrofit and renewable energy, having recently achieved a level 5 diploma in Retrofit Coordination.

Jackie Sweetland

Contracts Coordinator

Jackie joined Osborne Energy 3 years ago as a Contracts Co-ordinator and is involved mainly in organising the installation of insulation and renewable energy works. Having worked in customer facing and administration roles for many years prior to that, she brings lots of necessary skills to the role. On a personal note Jackie’s interests include walking and the countryside, art and crafts, and getting involved in some voluntary work at a local charity.

John Nugent

Contracts Coordinator

John has been a member of Osborne Energy since 2008.  Working as an ECO Coordinator, and also extensively in the Quality Department, has given him a good overview of the industry and the standards required for completed works.  He currently works on renewable energy, processing registrations and electrical connections for our solar PV and air source heat pump installations.

Sue Howes

Administration Support

Sue joined the Install Arm at Osborne Energy in 2021 and is part of the Admin Support team, liaising with residents, making appointments, and assisting them with their enquiries.

Julie Cumming

Administration Support

Julie has been working for Osborne Energy for over 10 years in an admin support role. She supports with the management of our approved contractor network, overseeing their onboarding, as well as maintaining their ongoing compliance with us. In addition to this, Julie works closely with the internal delivery team, undertaking a wide range of administrative duties.
