The Project
The goal of the project was to deliver energy efficiency and saving measures to selected homes across Wealden District Councils housing stock. A total of 60 properties benefited from having energy saving measures installed. This resulted in properties becoming more energy efficient and improving the comfort of residents.
The Installation
Measures installed to the properties included ventilation, air source heat pumps, solar PV and insulation measures such as loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, room in roof insulation and tile hanging insulation. The works were completed over the course of 12 months. Handover care included user instructions for the products along with energy saving tips and advice.
The Carbon Savings
131.50 tonnes saved
That’s the equivalent of planting 4077 trees a year!
