Background

Osborne Energy believe that it is vital to align social value with the specific needs of the local community. Heathfield Cricket Club were in need of energy efficient upgrades so asked Osborne Energy to survey the premises. By working in partnership with our clients and the community, it enables us to tailor the right approach, to achieve our shared goals.

Project Details

Heathfield Cricket Club wished to appoint a service provider experienced in the delivery of energy performance measures to their clubhouse at Old Heathfield, School Hill.
The primary measures that Heathfield Cricket Club were considering were loft insulation, LED lighting upgrades and heating upgrades.

Donation

Osborne Energy donated £2,000 towards the costs of the works as a means of sponsorship. This was to help the efforts of Heathfield Cricket Club in achieving a more energy efficient clubhouse.

Timescales

So not to interfere with the running of the different clubs held at the clubhouse, the installations were completed on separate days.
Loft insulation – 1 day
Upgrade heating – 1 day
Upgrade lighting – 1 day

Outcomes

The upgraded facilities to the cricket club building mean they will benefit from reduced energy costs moving forward.

Feedback

We approached Osborne Energy looking for advice to improve energy efficiency at Heathfield Park Cricket Club. John and his team were extremely helpful at every stage, from their knowledgeable input for planning and supporting the grant application, through to the installation process and supporting our volunteers to understand the new system. Our grant funding did not stretch far enough to complete all the proposed works and Osborne Energy offered to replace all the lighting free of charge. Everyone at Heathfield Park is extremely grateful for their support.
